Stage 1

90-second Video: If we were to admit one more student to this YLP batch, make a compelling argument as to why that student should be you? (90 seconds)

Brainstorming sessions to identify strengths, weakness and opportunities to improve your profile.
Develop the one page MBA resume to highlight the impact of your achievements.
Help you prepare your introduction for the 90 second video. In addition to the content, we will provide creative ideas to make your video impactful, memorable and rich. Video editing techniques and feedback on voice modulation for impact will be advised.
The brainstorming and resume will serve as an input for the essay. The final version will come out after multiple reviews including checking for impact, completeness, relevance, coherence, structure, grammar and word limit.

Stage 2
Shortlist: April 30, 2013
Deadline: August 7, 2013
Requirements:
Three Mandatory Essays:
GMAT Score. TOEFL/IELTS Score (if your medium of instruction has not been English)
Two Evaluations/Recommendations
What we will do
Brainstorming sessions to identify strengths, weakness and opportunities to improve your profile.
The brainstorming and resume will serve as an input for all the 3 essays. The final version will come out after 4-5 reviews including checking for impact, completeness, relevance, coherence, structure, grammar and word limit.
Brainstorming will also include inputs required in career goals and refining the career goals to check for fit to candidate’s interests and strengths.
Inputs on whom to approach for recommendation and work on a recommendation strategy to complement the skills highlighted in the essays.
Stage 3
Shortlist: August 31, 2013
A final short-list will be announced and all the short-listed candidates will be invited to the ISB campus for the final selection process which will include an interview.

Introduction to a case interview.
Types of cases.
Frameworks to approach a case.
Practice on 2 actual cases with refresher on how to apply the techniques learnt.
Case interview guides: Vault and Wetfeet.
2. 2 mock interviews with detailed feedback provided at each stage.
3. Interview Preparation guide will be provided to all candidates.
